How our concept began...
Who said maternity leave was just about spending time looking after the babies, changing nappies and spending time in coffee shops? Having several months off during maternity leave gives all lots of things to think about in life and this is how our new concept of Viano Interiors began…
Vivien Smith and Fallon Cowley – both friends but also related through marriage – spent several months together during the summer of 2018, having given birth to their children Luciano Cowley and Vivianna Smith. Thus, the name of the new business was created Vi…. Ano.
Vivien and Fallon, in their late thirties, were at a turning point in their life and were looking for a new venture. Back in January 2019 the pair were enjoying an Espresso Martini in a rooftop bar in Barcelona where the idea of a luxury interiors shop was discussed – as you know the laid plans and ideas always happen over a drink or two!
Very quickly, having discussed the initial idea, the wheels were put into motion – speaking to new potential suppliers, viewing properties, preparing business plans and projections, the property for Viano Interiors was secured on the 6th March 2019.
Having a passion for interiors and experience in developing properties the pair have made a huge success of their new business venture and now look forward to welcoming you to their new store in Bothwell.
